Booking Terms and Conditions

General Class Information

For hygiene purposes, please bring your own mat to lay over the studio mat.

Please arrive 5/10 minutes before the class start time. Our classes will start on time, the door/gate to the studio will be locked and  late entry will not be permitted, this is for the safety, security and comfort of the class, which always starts in stillness. If you are late then unfortunately you will forfeit the class. 

The studio is a technology free zone. If you do bring your phone please put it on silent not on vibrate 

There will be no access to the main property (except for emergencies) 

Entry is via the side gate.  

Please enter and leaving quietly out of courtesy for the neighbours. Free street parking is available on the surrounding roads, some parking restrictions apply so check the signage.

Please remove your shoes before standing on the studio floor, an outdoor shoe rack is provided. It is best to eat a small meal/light snack no less than 2 hours before the start of class.

Cancellation and No-shows

We believe in having a clear, simple to understand booking and cancellation policy to help avoid confusion and to form clear boundaries. These policies are in place to ensure that a small business is able to survive financially in order to continue to offer classes to those who benefit from them.  

6-8 Week Courses – Cancellation and No-shows

Your booking will be for the same regular class each week for the entire term.  

Much like attending a series of swimming or music lessons or buying a season ticket for a football, or a cinema ticket, you are reserving your space for a period of time!

No credit, roll overs or refunds will be given for missed classes or no shows.

Rescheduling a class within a Course

If you know that you are going to miss a class please give us at least 24 hour’s notice. If the correct notice is given then you may be offered an alternative class. 

Please note that any rescheduled classes within a course will be for a different class on a different day to your original booking. No credit or refund will be given. 

A class can only be rescheduled once.

Swaps can only be redeemed if you are currently attending a course, they cannot be saved up and redeemed after your course has ended.

Single Class Bookings -Cancellation and Rescheduling 

                                                   You can reschedule a class if you have given us at least 24 hours’ notice. No refunds or credit will be given for any missed classes. 

A class can only be rescheduled once and must be taken 2 weeks of your original class. 


Cancellation and No-shows of a Private Session(s)

For private 121 sessions, we operate a 24hr cancellation policy. If less than 24 hrs notice is given then we will charge you 100% of the agreed price for that session. If you arrive late for your session, the class will not be extended, it will finish on time. 

Please note that Social Media (Facebook, Instagram etc.) is not accepted as a suitable form of communication to cancel a private session, please email text or call 07383822277 to cancel or re-schedule.

Taster classes & special Offers- Cancellation and no shows. 

No refund or credit will be given for missed taster or special offer classes. If 24 hour’s notice of cancellation is given then another class will be offered. Exception: if your taster class booking has been booked under a limited time special offer, you are not entitled to transfer your booking if it falls outside of the offer period. No rescheduling will be available for late arrivals, no shows.

Timetable changes

On occasion, it may be necessary to cancel a class, course, private lesson, workshop or retreat. Should we ever cancel on you we will offer you a replacement class.

Liability Release

 By joining our classes, you confirm that you are physically fit for your yoga class and that you will notify your yoga teacher if your medical condition changes. You also confirm that you will inform your yoga teacher of any medical conditions, injuries or medication you are taking, that could affect your practice or that could affect other participants in the class. You will also notify your yoga teacher of any changes to your health that could affect your practice. Please do notify your teacher if you are pregnant or if you have recently delivered a baby. Not all classes are suitable for the prenatal and postnatal period, so please enquire with the studio to make sure your class is appropriate. Cherry Tree Yoga does not accept liability for any injury to self or for any loss of personal property.
